Carneddau Guided Walk

The Carneddau mountains are in Eryri and form the largest area of high ground over 910 metres (3000 feet) in Wales and England.

7 of the highest 15 peaks in Wales are located in the Carneddau which make this range of mountains popular with walkers. The highest summit is Carnedd Llewelyn (1064 m.)

In this beautiful area there are breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, lakes and the North Wales coastline. There are many routes available which range from moderate to hard, depending on the route you choose. The Carneddau mountains have connections to Welsh historical figures and have interesting names connected to wildlife in the local area.

Can’t recommend Smyrff and Hike and bike Snowdonia high enough, from the initial enquiry to the walk itself the whole process was excellent Smyrff is an excellent guide with great knowledge of the terrain and the surrounding environment, I learned quite a few things on the walk and even a bit of Welsh too.
